I was inspired to write this post by the 11 (and more) amazing women who I look up to everyday.
Superwoman (aka Lilly Singh) is someone who turns every negative day into a joyful, positive one. Her humor and positivity are like rays, that shoot out of my laptop screen as I watch her, and fill my day with happiness and laughter.
Karlie Kloss is a gorgeous human being. But when I found out about her eagerness to code, I began to love her even more. Like Karlie, I believe coding is the way to the future. It can do incredible things and it is really fun to learn!
Ariana Grande has an amazing voice and very catchy songs! Last summer, she shared a feminist message on Twitter, which I loved and definitely believed in.
Jennifer Lawrence is one of my favorite Hollywood actresses. At this point in her successful career, she is down-to-earth, genuine, and hilarious.
Emma Watson is another one of my favorite actresses. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, so you can say I've been a fan of her's for a really long time. I am a feminist, so when Emma delivered her powerful feminism speech in 2014, I could not be prouder. She is such an amazing role model.
Malala Yousafzai is, no doubt, an awesome human being. Her story is remarkable and inspiring. This girl is going to go places and change the world.
Deepika Padukone is my favorite Bollywood actress--no doubt. She is one of the most talented actresses in the Indian film industry. Last year, she released a video featuring 98 other women speaking about feminism. She has spoken up about equal pay, stereotypes, and more. You go, girl!
Taylor Swift's new music could not possibly get better. Although it has been more than a year since the release of 1989, I am still (and will always be) obsessed. Her street style is also something I admire about her.
Sophia Amaruso is the founder of Nasty Gal and author of #Girlboss, which I recently completed. It really resonated with me--there are so many lessons you can learn by reading this book.
Amanda Stenberg is a talented actress and an outspoken feminist. Her messages on social media and to the public need to be heard. This girl knows what she's talking about.
